okay, so I decided to open another account for myself- don't worry I'm not moving. The other one will be strictly for uploading horse art related to VHR, HARPG, whatever. I don't want to swamp this account with all that useless stuff and I'm trying to clean up my gallery a bit anyway. If I get something really good I'll put it here too. The other account is also being used as a stock collection site so all of my reference pictures end up in one spot. I already have quite a collection. Horse linearts too. Ones that I can use off DA. Pastelling woes

Well, I have been trying to pastel breyer horses for like a really long time, and they always got really gritty and ugly after a few layers. I tried a lot of different things and no matter what I did it always turned out the same. It was sad. I was ready to quit all together. And then.... DISCOVERY!!!!! The sealant I am using is the source of all my trouble. It is very uneven and thus causes grittiness. Now I am on the hunt for something else. I've heard Testor's Dullcote works miracles so I think that will be my next buy. I am really excited and hoping this will fix everything (even though that means I get to strip sealed paint off my mod

Wow I can't believe that another year has gone by. Seems like forever passed in a day. Amazing how time can do that. College is eating up my life. One semester to go and I have my associates degree. Blarg. For now that is my pathetic excuse as to why I have produced zero quality art (or any art for that matter) for the world to see. I will be posting some stuff up. I am on break and I hope to dump a lot of time into creative things. I hope everyone has a good 2012. I know I am going to! :heart:
