This is a very overdue drawing of my leased horse in Alabama named Joker. The spots are off by miles but you get the general idea. He turned 22 I belive this year and I had to do something to remember him by. I was going to write a whole poem, but my braincells are ded. School starts next week or so....:| im gonna die.

Anyways. I used a sheet of printer paper! :dance:

My word the scanner kilt it! you cant see how white his coat is cause the blue dont show up!!!!!!! hes all like purpley in glowingness in the real thing...

no unfortuneatly(cant spell anything :|) We moved up tp New York and left Joker there. We could have bought him but we didnt have a place to put him or a trailer so.... it was hard.

Thanks! I had fun with it. I put the border on it to bring out some of the colors. my scanner eats lightly colored pictures for snacks :/ I have potos of him somewhere. maybe I can find them...

My scanner does the same thing. I run them through Paint Shop Pro and use the gamma correction filter on them, and it helps a lot. It never really quite picks up colored pencil the way I'd like it to, though.

I'm sorry to hear about Joker. But, like many of us, I think, there are horses I'd have in my barn today too, if I could have kept them.

yeah. and i dare not color harder just to make them show up. it distorts the real thing. maybe i could take a picture=33 I dont think i have paint shop pro. where do you get and how much does it run for?

:nod: theres one horse in West Virginia, named Sampyre(sam), and i would kill to have him. hes like, nearly 17 HH and a black bay. absolutly beautiful. I would take him up in a heartbeat. of course Joker would be in the stall right next to him:D

Paint Shop Pro is great for color correction. It usually runs about 1/10th the price of Photoshop. It's published by JASC.

I'm pretty sure they have a demo download... one moment.

Ok, here we go, this is the front page of it. It's $80 for a full version, so it's not nearly as spendy as Photoshop, and IMHO, is a lot easier to use. If nothing else, you could play with it for 30 days and make up your mind before you buy it. I'm pretty sure it's a 30 day demo.
