okay, so I decided to open another account for myself- don't worry I'm not moving. The other one will be strictly for uploading horse art related to VHR, HARPG, whatever. I don't want to swamp this account with all that useless stuff and I'm trying to clean up my gallery a bit anyway. If I get something really good I'll put it here too. The other account is also being used as a stock collection site so all of my reference pictures end up in one spot. I already have quite a collection. Horse linearts too. Ones that I can use off DA. Others I just want to color will stay here, but this keeps them separate without too much thought. I plan on eliminating a lot of things from my gallery and favorites to move things over there and to clean things up a bit. That's gonna be a nice little project when the time comes.

Mizradon is an OC by the way. This is Kirra's 'real' name, like Rusty's is Khaldun. They are both Hedilian. I'll have a nice little bio on her at some point I'm sure but I thought I'd at least mention that it's not just a random name I came up with.

Anyway, I do have a personal project I'm working on regarding horses and digital coloring. It's coming along nicely so far. I'll post it as I finish each piece. It'll be grand.

Also I miss Luna, who is out being awesome and digging up dinosaur bones and what not. COME BACK WE MISS YOU!!!....

Well, I have been trying to pastel breyer horses for like a really long time, and they always got really gritty and ugly after a few layers. I tried a lot of different things and no matter what I did it always turned out the same. It was sad. I was ready to quit all together. And then....

DISCOVERY!!!!!


The sealant I am using is the source of all my trouble. It is very uneven and thus causes grittiness. Now I am on the hunt for something else. I've heard Testor's Dullcote works miracles so I think that will be my next buy.

I am really excited and hoping this will fix everything (even though that means I get to strip sealed paint off my model, YET AGAIN. sigh). If it works out I'll be sure to put up some pictures.

In the mean time, wish me luck.





Also, forgot to mention- for those who may even be mildly interested in Rusty (Khaldun) and the the whole Hedilia/Tanton/Korda/Epicstoryofawesomeiwillneverfinnish I have been sketching out a lot of concept art. If any of it starts to look good I will throw it on here for you to enjoy. Someone probably needs to motivate me though. Rock, Loo, Kenzed- it's fallen on you to do that so don't quit me now

This has been another installment of your (not so) daily dose of awesome.

Wow I can't believe that another year has gone by. Seems like forever passed in a day. Amazing how time can do that.

College is eating up my life. One semester to go and I have my associates degree. Blarg. For now that is my pathetic excuse as to why I have produced zero quality art (or any art for that matter) for the world to see.

I will be posting some stuff up. I am on break and I hope to dump a lot of time into creative things.

I hope everyone has a good 2012. I know I am going to!

Okay, so I'm not dead. I would have posted something years ago when I got my new comp, but I've had major issues as stated in the description of about everything I've posted recently...

Yes. Comp does not like DA and I don't know if it is the internet or not so I'm at rock's stealing Seamus (Shay-mus cause she obviously can't spell correctly) and attemtpting to remember the witty journal entry I had in mind last week.

OH yeah. watch Llamas with Hats. It's EPIC.

NYC! It was amazing! So many people and lights and oh my gosh the hot dogs and ice cream. WOW. It was awesome.

Walked down Broadway and went to the Rockefeller building. Saw the statue of Liberty and went to the WTC memorial.

We also missed our bus to the city AND almost missed the one back to our hotel. That was exciting. Did you know that the subs only stop for like 5 seconds? It's crazy! Barely get on before you're moving at highspeeds down the tunnel. Insane.

yeah.

Battle Plan:

Out Look:
so far so good. should have free time maybe Sunday and hopefully next weekend. I really think tha 5 more hours should be added to the day so I have more time that isn't spent doing homework.

Requests/Commisions:
I will take only limited requests/coms due to lack of time and potential overload of artness headed my way but I will still be happy to sketch stuff for people. Actually please tell me to do something so I'm not bored completly out of my mind. It would be appreciated.
